OUR FIRST GROUP PHOTO AND EVERYONE LOOKS GOOD!
The ever-nervous Being & Nothingness Cam Team is worried about their biographies being posted starting next week, so I thought I’d ease them into the blog exposure with this brief introduction.
Sia: HTML set up and updating; specializes in John "The idea of substance" Locke and Jeremy "moral philosophy" Bentham; European, although she has yet to give a country of origin; smokes a lot.
Tom: Camera maintenance and lead in playing the ongoing hot-and-cold game of “find the cameras”; helps edit Wikipedia entries on philosophy and philosophers and laughs and laughs; husband of 20 years and father of a teenage girl
Phaye: Currently in intern/gofer position; young and has a memory; wears a lot of pink, despite her affinity to Friedrich "God is dead" Nietzsche.
Dirk: Computer maintenance and advisor; cranky raconteur; Mac-trasher; has a passing interest in philosophy during commercial breaks.
Me: B&N Cam Project and Project Grant manager; makes the coffee; knows nothing about philosophy.
There. Now they can whine a little less. The B&NCT, that is. Dirk doesn’t whine.
